Client-ready Class Reporting

Conrad, Bridget, & Konrad

Kick’s reporting now supports up to five tiers of nested Classes and Subclasses, so you or your clients can clearly see how every part of the business is performing.

Profit & Loss by Class report in Kick showing nested Location, state, city, and address Class columns

Classes let you track income and expenses across departments, locations, projects, funds, or any other way you want to break down the business.

But other systems flatten your reports into a single tier, even when your Classes are nested several levels deep. Every Subclass lands in its own column with no way to roll it up, so the report is hard to read and harder to hand to a client.

With Kick, your Class structure carries all the way through to the report, with no exporting, rebuilding, or spreadsheet work required.

Nested Classes and Subclasses

  • Nest up to five tiers of Classes and Subclasses
  • Assign multiple Classes or Subclasses to the same transaction to analyze cross-sections of your reports

Reports built to share

  • New reports keep your nested headers intact, so they’re ready to share with clients or third parties
  • Apply Class filters while viewing columns by Class to build highly custom reports

One-click migration

  • Already using Classes in another system? Migrate them to Kick in one click

Class reporting is available on the Plus plan. Head to the Accounting tab to check it out.
